    Abstract

    This system aims at replacing the conventional parking system with an IoT-based smart parking system by using RFID (radio-frequency identification). The users will be provided an entry card for getting access to the parking slot. The users will also be provided with an android based mobile application, using which they can know about the availability of the parking slot on their mobile phones. The users will need to maintain a minimum amount of balance in their entry card for getting access through the parking system, otherwise, the system will deny the access to enter. In this way, this smart parking system will help reduce human effort & time by using automation technology.

    Pesticide Sprayer Drone

    Agricultural pesticide spraying is a very labour intensive task with various problems faced in manual process. Human spraying may lead to inadequate or spraying of pesticides in certain parts of field, also it is not safe to handle pesticide as exposure can cause skin and breathing problems in humans. The same problem is with sanitization in city or towns during COVID pandemic. Drones are very costly pieces of equipment, using drones for just one purpose proves to be very expensive task.

    To solve all these problems we here design a multipurpose drone that is compact and thus less costly and also multipurpose drone that can be used in agriculture spraying as well as for sanitization of streets/ corridors/ open areas. Making it multipurpose makes it even more worth to buy as it fulfils more than one purpose.

    Vehicle Movement Based Street Lights with External Light Sensing

     

    The main aim of this project is that it saves energy by putting on the lights of the system only when the system detects movement of vehicle. The system switches on the street light ahead of the vehicle and switches off the trailing lights simultaneously. In order to detect movement of vehicles, sensors are used. The system automatically puts on the lights that are ahead of the vehicle detected and as soon as the vehicle moves ahead, the trailing lights are switched off. This is better than the existing system where the street lights are kept on always unlike this system where the street lights are put on only when movement of vehicle is detected which helps in saving lot of energy.
